When I joined the course I thought I was already a good listener. During the course I found that, although I had a basic understanding, my skills fell well short of being ‘good’! The course improved my ability to ‘listen well’ considerably and I now use those new skills in my voluntary role as a Listener at The Listening Place. I have also found these skills invaluable when listening to friends and family members. It’s a course that could benefit everyone!” JL
